super happy couple that just were married

I approach my wedding photography as a photojournalist. I like to be as unobtrusive as possible, blending in while I document your day as it unfolds, naturally. This allows me to get the most honest, authentic, and meaningful photos for you. Take a look at my portfolio to see examples of my work. Whether you’re planning a wedding that’s more traditional with a ceremony, portraits and reception, or something unique like an intimate backyard wedding or an elopement, I would love to tell your story in amazing photographs!

Besides being a documentary wedding photographer, I specialize in awesome, amazing, romantic, passionate, and gorgeous photos of couples (in case you haven’t noticed). Whether it’s your wedding day, a special occasion, or just because, I’m thrilled to capture your love story in fine-art inspired photographs that evoke all the feels.

If photography is just another thing you want to get off your wedding checklist, we might not be the best fit for each other. Your wedding photography is incredibly important- one of the only things you’ll have to cherish for years and years after your wedding day. The only thing that you’ll be able to actually hold in your hand, look at, and be taken back right to the day of. These memories are worth investing in. I want you to feel comfortable with my style & my way of work. Because I’ll be getting close- really close- to capture those moments, those emotions, the in between looks, hugs and smiles.

Q & A

How do we book you for our wedding?

To reserve your wedding date, you'll need to contact me to see if I'm available on your day. If so, we'll set up a meeting. We can meet in person or by video. This way I can answer any questions and we can all get to know each other. If we meet somewhere, I'll buy you a drink! After we meet (or at the same time) you'll receive a quote for your services, a photography agreement which you must sign, and you'll place a $500 retainer to reserve your date.

How soon should we book you for our wedding?

I only take on a limited number of weddings per year, so my calendar fills up rather fast. I recommend contacting me and reserving your date as soon as you have your venue and date picked, or as soon as possible!

What if we want to "shop around"?

I know finding the right wedding photographer can be quite the job- I had to do it myself when Scott and I were married. I hope that you'll be able to get a really good feel for my work, my style, and my personality from this website. My style isn't traditional, and my work is different from any of the other photographers out there. If you like what you see, but aren't convinced, reach out and ask me to see a full wedding gallery. I'll gladly send it and maybe that'll be what you need to be sure! I don't recommend contacting numerous photographers and going back and forth with them. It'll be stressful for everyone involved. :)
