Based in the breathtaking Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan, senior picture sessions take place in the beautiful and wild places in nature of the Upper Peninsula. We are truly fortunate to have such stunning landscapes as a backdrop, providing a unique and enchanting setting for your senior pictures!

My Approach

I believe that the best photos come from genuine interactions. My sessions are fun and relaxed and focus more on storytelling than posed shots. I want to capture the essence of your personality and soul.

Yay! I can’t wait to hear from you! Tell me a little more about you, and I’ll get back to you right away with everything you need to book your session. We’ll pick a date and time for your session.

02. ideas and planning

I’ll send you a discovery questionnaire that will help me put together some ideas for locations and session styling, so your session will be totally, uniquely, YOU.

03. Get ready

No need to worry about what to wear or how to prepare! I’ll send you a senior session guide that exclusively for Lume Photo seniors, with details on what to wear, how to get ready, what to bring, and everything else you’ll need to have the best session ever.

04. YOUR session

When it comes time for your session, we’ll meet at the chosen location and spend 10-15 minutes meeting, talking, and just chilling out. I’ll go over the session and how it works, and then we’ll get started!

Every session is relaxed and fun and easy-going. You won’t have to worry about what to do or how to pose or anything- I’ll guide you through the session an you’ll be surprised at how easy it is!

Just reach out using the contact form at the bottom of this page. From there I’ll let you know my availability, and send you everything you need. Booking your session is easy and is done online. All I need is a date and then you’ll choose your package and add-ons, sign a photography agreement, and pay a 50% retainer fee to reserve your session.

Yes, of course! Parents are always welcome, as well as siblings and/or friends. Depending on how it goes, I might ask them to hang back for a few minutes so you can be away from distractions, and I might even ask them to assist me.

YES! I love dogs (and all animals) and I work really well with them. If you bring a dog it’s best to only do part of your session with them, so having someone who can take them for part of the session is essential.

Session packages do not include prints or other photo products, but they do include all the digital photos and all the rights to them. When you book your session and select your package, you can add on print packages at that time.

Your online gallery will include a built-in professional photo shop where you can order prints and other products and have them shipped right to your door! Prices and turnaround times vary.

Michigan is my home- I grew up in the Southeast Lower Peninsula, lived in Traverse City for 8 years, and now reside in the Upper Peninsula. I’m very familiar with locations and logistics all over the Mitten State.

Besides Michigan, I’ve photographed sessions and weddings as far as Costa Rica and Scotland. In the States, I’ve traveled to California, Arizona, Colorado, and many other places. I’m an avid traveler and love documenting love stories all over the world!
