Fall Engagement Photos in Michigan

Seven Lakes State Park in Fenton, Michigan is a hidden gem because it’s quiet, and there are thousands of acres of wilderness to explore. Being outside in nature makes it so much easier to remove yourself from the distractions of life, and you can focus on what really matters. Your emotions are amplified, and you can enjoy the sights and sounds while you relax and hang out together.

Caitlyn and Bobby met me at Seven Lakes State Park for their Connection Session. I loved hanging out with them because they’re both so down to earth, and we laughed so much! Exploring the trails, I talked to them about dogs, the upcoming holidays, and life in general. Then we talked about how they met, what brought them together, and why they want to be married.

Fall in Michigan brings crisp air, warm golden hues, and a sense that the universe is slowing down, preparing for Winter. It’s the perfect time to reflect on your relationship- like what brought you together, and everything you’ve been through. Isn’t it amazing that two souls can find each other in the craziness of our world, and fall in love?

Lume Photography is a fine art elopement and wedding photographer based in Michigan, travelling worldwide. Behind the camera you’ll find me (Andrea)- a girl who loves animals, the wilderness, and love stories. I believe in magic, soulmates, and the hidden forces of energy that connect everything and everyone in the universe. My favorite places are the woods, the mountains, and the ocean. My passion is documenting the moments, emotions and connection between two souls in love, in wild places. I travel to Arizona, Colorado, California, Scotland, and beyond to photograph wild elopements and small destination weddings.
