The Keweenaw Castle in Eagle River, MI was the perfect setting for this late spring elopement in the Upper Peninsula. The couple rented the entire place out for themselves and their very small guest list, comprised of their closest family members.
My favorite parts of this elopement were the couple, the weather, and the guests. I love how genuine and easy-going Alex and James are. Plus, they’re REALLY good dancers. This day’s weather was absolutely perfect- warm and mild, with just enough cloud cover. Not a bug to be seen! And I loved meeting and hanging out with the guests at this wedding. It was so much fun!
The Keweenaw Castle is a beautiful house that has 4 guest suites and sits right on the shores of Lake Superior. Its remote, private location in the wilderness makes it pretty special. Since the time of this elopement, the owners have decided not to offer all-inclusive weddings and elopement events, but you can still book a suite for your honeymoon or a luxurious place to stay for your elopement!
