My name is Andrea, and Lume Photography is the space I’ve created for stories that feel wild, true, and beautifully untraditional. Based in the remote, wild beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I offer photography and planning for couples who want space to breathe, feel, and move through the day in a way that feels deeply natural. For over a decade, I’ve helped couples create wedding days that feel like exhaling.
As the Upper Peninsula’s top elopement planner, I bring together deep local knowledge, calm support, and a quiet creative presence that allows space for real connection. I create photographs and GIFs that hold feeling—not just what it looked like, but how it moved, how it breathed, how it felt to be there. I call them Connection Sessions because they’re about so much more than photos. These sessions are a space for you and your partner to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—without expectations or posing for anyone else. Whether it’s an engagement, an anniversary, or simply a day to celebrate your story, we’ll wander wild places and create images filled with emotion and the unique energy between you. It’s less about labels and more about crafting memories that feel real and deeply yours.

Travel Rates
I’m based in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula, surrounded by wild forests, rugged cliffs, and endless shoreline. My travel fees are simple and transparent, so you can focus on your experience, not logistics.
- Local Travel Included – No extra fees for locations within 2 hours of Houghton, MI (hello, Keweenaw magic!).
- Extended Drives – Destinations like Marquette (it’s 6-hour round-trip for me) require a flat $300 fee to allow for a smooth, stress-free experience.
- Overnight Destinations – For locations requiring a stay, there’s a flat $700 fee.
- Additional Costs – If your location requires a ferry (like Isle Royale or Mackinac Island), the round-trip ferry cost will be additional.
- Fly-to Destinations – Dreaming of an elopement in the desert, mountains, or beyond? U.S. & international travel is all-inclusive, just ask for pricing details!
