That’s exactly what we recently captured in this engagement shoot at the Keweenaw Peninsula. The setting was serene and peaceful, providing the perfect backdrop to capture the love between K & B.

Located on the Keweenaw Peninsula, this waterfall is a secluded paradise surrounded by lush trees and crystal-clear water. We started our day early to avoid crowds and to capture the most natural light possible. It was a hot summer day- perfect for cooling off in the water.

As we moved closer to the swimming hole at the waterfall, the sound grew louder and the mist intensified. It was magical! I wanted to capture the raw emotions of the couple, so I encouraged them to get in the water and connect with each other. I brought a bundle of white sage to burn during the session, which just added to the magical energy. The epic scenery and being in nature allowed the couple to relax and be themselves, resulting in some of the most natural and lovely moments captured on the Keweenaw Peninsula.
