My name is Andrea, and Lume Photography is the space I’ve created for stories that feel wild, true, and beautifully untraditional. Based in the remote, wild beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I offer photography and planning for couples who want space to breathe, feel, and move through the day in a way that feels deeply natural. For over a decade, I’ve helped couples create wedding days that feel like exhaling.
As the Upper Peninsula’s top elopement planner, I bring together deep local knowledge, calm support, and a quiet creative presence that allows space for real connection. I create photographs and GIFs that hold feeling. Not just what it looked like, but how it moved, how it breathed, how it felt to be there. Eloping once meant slipping away in secret, whispered about as something reckless or forbidden. But today, it means choosing presence over performance. A day crafted for your love alone, free from expectations or spectacle.
Here’s how I define things:
• Elopements – up to 5 guests (just you, your partner, and a few witnesses). These days are deeply personal, flexible, and centered around your shared experience.
• Micro-Weddings – between 5 and 30 guests. They hold the same spirit of intimacy but allow space to include a few loved ones in a way that still feels easygoing and meaningful.
• Full Weddings – anything over 30 guests. I only take on a small number of these each year when the energy and vision feel like a natural fit.
The experience and pricing are the same for elopements and micro-weddings, because the heart of what I do doesn’t change with the guest count. It’s still about slowing down, being present, and creating a day that feels relaxed, intentional, and true to your story.
Eloping (in any form) isn’t selfish or small. It’s sacred. It’s a way to breathe, to feel, and to celebrate your wedding in a way that’s deeply true to who you are. My role is to help make it art, memory, and magic.
